The First Commercial Ever To Advertise High-level Poetry Services

Comcast Rise Grant

The Poet Life has received a generous grant to air a cable television for 90 days starting in April. This is a monumental opportunity for the growth of our company and the development of the poetry industry. This is not only our first commercial but this is the industry’s first commercial advertising a poetry service.

Comcast has launched a multi-year, multi-faceted initiative designed to help strengthen Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)-owned, small businesses.

David Bianchi

David is a globally recognized spoken word poet. He competed in National slam competitions, has been televised nationwide on the hit series Verses & Flow Seasons 3 & 5 on TV-ONE. Most recently he was featured on KTLA prime time news in the award-winning series “Breaking Bias” for his poetic activism. David is the creator of Spinema the art form he dubs “spinning cinema through spoken word.”

Aerin Stack

Aerin Stack is a SoCal based actress, writer, poet, and mixed media performance artist. A devoted Mother, sacred activist, with a passion for defining and fighting for a society that is equal for all. Deep soul, beauty, and brains; she leaves it all on stage. 

Chris Woods

Chris Wood is a Los Angeles based writer, actor, and spoken word artist. Known for a wide array of artistic endeavors, he’s written books, acted on film and stage, recorded hip-hop tracks, and led poetry and lyric writing sessions in juvenile detention facilities across LA.

Bianca Ostojich

Bianca Ostojich is an actress, poet and writer from Southern California who earned an AA degree while training at the San Diego Mesa College Theatre Company. Ms Ostojich has collaborated on projects such as Rapture, Blister and Burn at the San Diego Repertoire Theater as an understudy.

Anthony Hyland

Anthony Hyland formally known as Poetic Prophecy has been performing for 15+ years. Through his poetry Hyland seeks to challenge the status quo and shift mentalities surrounding a multitude of subjects.

Christoph Jenkins

Christoph Jenkins, Founder & CEO of The Poet Life, is a poet, writer, and activist. Christoph began writing poetry in grade school and soon found it to be his passion. His passion for words has afforded him the ability to write professionally for over 20 years. He has also used his gift of writing to help the fight against cancer by writing a cancer awareness version of the hit single “Stay With Me” by Sam Smith and Founding the world renowned nonprofit Fighting Cancer With Poetry, Inc.

David Bianchi

David is widely known for producing spoken word films through his company Exertion Films. His film have screened at top tier festivals around the globe. His first spoken word film "Soldier" won a bevy of awards at festivals worldwide and was given 5 STARS in Film Threat Magazine. He has produced films with his celebrity collaborators including Mustafa Shakir, Joivan Wade, Gina Rodriguez and Lisa Nichols.

Dave Perry

Dave Perry is a Los Angeles based Director of Photography for feature films, short films, music videos, and commercials. Since 2003, Dave has worked with talented directors, producers, production companies, and agencies from around the country to create powerful, award winning work. His critical eye for composition is evident in his compelling cinematography.

Daniel J. Pico

Dan has directed two theatrically released feature films “Common Senses”, and “Farewell Darkness” which won three best feature film awards in the international film festival circuit.  Additionally, Daniel has directed more than 85 short films, music videos, commercials and documentaries, including 11 episodes of several popular TV and web series, garnering over 40 independent film awards and nominations for his work.
