Event Description: Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Silver Spring Alumnae Chapter is hosting its 5th Annual Holiday Social & Toy Drive on Saturday, 3 December at the Silver Spring Civic Center from 7pm-11pm. This year the event will have a speakeasy theme. We are looking for 2-3 local poet talents for showcase portion of the event. Poets will perform in between musical performances by a live jazz/r&b band. Seeking poets who can align their piece(s) to the theme of the event.
